We were formed in 1991 by Alan and Julie Armstrong and are based near Keswick in Cumbria. We are makers of hand crafted and high quality desserts, gateaux and artisan bakery related items. We serve three markets, national food services, the local catering trade and, with our new retail range, shops within the Lake District. Because we are growing very rapidly, we want to fill a number of key positions. The right people will have the necessary skills and experience to fit into and help lead our business forward for the foreseeable future. |
Production Manager: Reporting to the Production Director, he/she will need to be fully conversant with all aspects of smaller scale bakery and artisan related production processes, capable of working with a team, responding to a fast moving and constantly changing production environment, whilst maintaining our full BRC accreditation. Production Assistant: This is a job for an energetic team player looking forward to an exciting career opportunity. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will need to be creative, a fast mover, with good making skills producing gateaux, cheesecakes and other artisan products. You would be joining our small but growing team dedicated to producing products of the highest quality. Retail Sales Executive: Here is a really cool opportunity for someone who is a dynamic self starter, who really wants to get results and enjoys a challenging sales opportunity and who will be well rewarded for doing so. Reporting to the Managing Director, we need someone to take our new retail range of desserts and get them into farm shops and the top end of the retail grocery outlets. As this is a brand new venture the right person will be joining the Company on the ground floor, reporting to the Managing Director. Although experience of a similar position would prove useful, it is by no means essential. No room for faint hearts! Assistant Administrator: To help our current Office Manager, the nerve centre of our business. The post would be just right for someone who is looking for a part flexi-time job where they will be familiar with telephones, word processing, book keeping and all office admin procedures. Production Line Operator: A position for someone who has little or no experience of the production processes but is willing to learn from the ground up. The right candidate will be prepared to work hard and quickly learn the ropes working and getting on with our long established team.
